the Madtes Men home in Germany

We would love to share our home with you. Our four bedroom house is always ready for visitors. And Snickers really loves company!

Madtes Family Crest

I researched the Madtes family crest in 1990 and this is what I found. The name Madtes appears in the Nürnberg, Germany city records in 1497. For all those who remember the stories about the Madtes' coming from Lithuania, it looks like the Madtes' left Germany then perhaps went back to Northern Germany before coming America. I can also find the family name in France.
